Clients qualified to petition for bankruptcy protection must be counseled by a certified credit counseling agency approved by the Executive Office of the United States Trustees (EOUST) prior to filing. After you petition the courts on their behalf, your client must complete the financial debtor education course in order for the bankruptcy to be discharged.
CCCS is approved by the EOUST to provide both services in the states of Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. The service is available face-to-face, by telephone and online (the telephone debtor education course is currently in process).
CCCS will help you meet the requirements while maintaining control of the attorney-client relationship. Please provide us with your registration information so that we can better serve the client.
