CCCS RESEARCH ANALYST FETED FOR FINDING “NEEDLE IN HAYSTACK” PDF Print E-mail

McKinney, Texas—Sheila Everett, Account Specialist and Research Analyst for Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of North Central Texas loves the details of her job.  CCCS is a non-profit agency that disburses funds to creditors on the behalf of clients and sometimes one small accounting detail can be tricky to find, but Sheila is up to the task. 

 

Earlier this year CCCS upgraded their processing system and thousands of client files had to be changed from the old system to the new.  Millions of dollars were being disbursed and clearing the bank and running smoothly, however some client funds inadvertently snuck back into the old system.  Finding the glitch in the system and tediously working to correct it Sheila, who has been with the agency since March of 2002, successfully remedied the problem saving the agency perhaps thousands of dollars.

 

Recently Sheila was out of the office for family illness and she continued to work accounts on Saturday and helped keep the research current for clients and for the agency.  Sheila’s work ethic and attention to detail makes her a valuable asset to the agency and to clients the agency serves.

 

“I love what I do for CCCS,” said Sheila as she accepted the Golden Eagle Award for outstanding service.  “Our clients rely on us knowing the conversations they had with us and knowing what happened that affected their account even if it was 3 or 4 years ago.  I don’t mind digging until I find what they need.”
