CCCS of North Central Texas does not pay or receive fees or other consideration for the referral of debtor students to our courses. CCCS has been approved for Online Pre-Discharge Education in all jurisdictions in the following states: Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of an agency's services - EOUST
CCCS also offers Bankruptcy Debtor Education Face-to-face in a classroom-setting. For more information click on the Calendar tab to access times, locations and directions. In compliance with the statutory mandates of the United States Bankruptcy Code and the United States Trustee Program, debtors must complete the Online Pre-Filing Counseling before they file for bankruptcy. The Pre-Discharge Debtor Education course must be completed after the debtor has petitioned the courts and has received a case number. When filing jointly, each debtor must complete the Debtor Education course INDIVIDUALLY. To sign into the course, each individual will be required to have a unique username and password. If you sign up as a couple, you will be asked to create 1 username and password. The second username and password will be emailed to you. The fee for the 2-hour Debtor Education Course is $45 for individuals, or $70 per couple. It is understood that no debtor will be turned away because of an inability to pay the fee. If your circumstances warrant a waiver of the fee, please click the link below to submit a fee waiver request. If approved you will be issued a username and password to access the system. The criteria used for waiving of fees is the current Health & Human Services Poverty Guidelines plus 150%.
