Local Agency Only North Texas CCCS® Agency Approved for Pre-Bankruptcy Counseling

McKinney, Texas— Consumer Credit Counseling Service® of North Central Texas (CCCS) is approved by the EOUST (Executive Office of the United States Trustee) for pre-counseling for consumers seeking bankruptcy relief through the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005, which will take effect on October 17, 2005.

“As soon as our agency found out what was needed to qualify on the new bankruptcy program, we went to work to ensure we would be approved,” said Danny Wolf, President of CCCS of North Central Texas. “Our team stands ready to help people in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma who file for bankruptcy protection under the new law effective October 17th .”

The EOUST set stringent guidelines for approval to do financial counseling through the new program.  CCCS will help consumers filing for bankruptcy to be aware of the alternatives and pitfalls associated with bankruptcy under the new law. 

CCCS of North Central Texas, Inc. is approved to issue certificates in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of an Agency's services—EOUST.
